How often should we back up?
It depends on how much data you can afford to lose. Systems that change all day, like accounting or databases, should back up hourly; general document files are fine once a day.
We already back up — do we still need to test restores?
Yes. A corrupted or misconfigured backup is only discovered when you need it. We run scheduled restore tests and report the results, confirming you can recover within the agreed time.
Does it really protect against ransomware?
The systems we deploy store backups in immutable form — they can't be changed or deleted — and keep them separate from the production network. Even if company machines are encrypted, backups stay safe and recoverable.
Where is the data stored?
On-premises, in the cloud, or both under the 3-2-1 approach, which is the safest. For data that must stay in-country, we can store it in a Thai data centre.
How long does a restore take?
Single files take minutes. Restoring a full machine or server depends on data size and connection, usually a matter of hours. Guaranteed restore times are set in each plan's SLA.
Do you offer ongoing backup management?
Yes. We check backup results daily, fix failed jobs, adjust schedules as usage changes and send status reports to your administrator at the agreed interval.
